Live Chat on Windows 8, coming up at noon today

Posting from Anaheim: Do you have questions about Windows 8? Curious what the experience is like? Want to talk about the new Metro design and what it will mean for your next PC?

Here’s your chance.

I’ll be participating in a live chat about Microsoft’s next operating system with longtime technology journalist Wilson Rothman of msnbc.com at noon Pacific time today. Sign up for a reminder below and come back later this morning to jump into the mix.

As a primer, here’s my initial hands-on video and post about the Windows 8 Preview slate shown here in Anaheim this week. Since then I’ve had more time to experience Windows 8 with a keyboard and mouse, and I actually think that’s the most interesting subplot here at Build — for all the talk of Windows 8 as an iPad rival, it’s a big leap over current versions of Windows as a regular old desktop OS. Happy to talk about that or anything else, including some of the challenges I’ve encountered.
